Message from the President & CEO

Dear shareholders,
I hope you are enjoying brighter days as we transition towards spring and that you can safely enjoy time outdoors with your loved ones. At NANA, late winter is a good time to reflect on the prior year, with the review and adoption of our annual financial audit, board level performance reviews of our management team, and preparations for our annual meeting of shareholders.
Fiscal year 2025 was another exceptionally strong year for NANA. For the first time ever, our company generated over $ 3 billion in gross revenue and produced $ 295 million in EBITDA. Red Dog Mine provided another large contribution to our earnings this past year, and our business operations set new revenue and earnings records.
All of NANA’ s net income from Red Dog is invested into the shareholder permanent fund, so our business operations fund the bulk of NANA ' s activities. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team to deliver benefits to shareholders. The income also supports work performed on many of the projects and programs at NANA, including those mentioned in this edition of the Hunter. Our operations are also the source of record-breaking shareholder dividend distributions, which surpassed $ 50 million for the first time the history of the Company.
Our ancestors have inhabited the region for over 10,000 years, and therefore, NANA will continue to take a long-term approach to our communities and people. The shareholder-approved permanent fund is an important part of our strategy to translate finite mineral resources into an asset that will benefit shareholders in perpetuity. I’ m pleased to celebrate that the permanent fund recently surpassed $ 500 million in market value and has generated close to 19 % in returns since contributions began in December 2024. The fund has significantly outperformed initial investment projections. We are on track to support shareholder dividend
distributionseven when mineral royalties from Red Dog eventually phase out.
The team at NANA is busy preparing for this year’ s annual meeting, which is scheduled to be held in Noorvik on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This significant event is an opportunity for shareholders to connect, get updates on the company, and vote for board members. If you can’ t be there in person, details for watching via livestream, or listening over the phone can be found on page two. Annual report and proxy packets are now available; see pages five through eight for information about voting and proxy prizes.
In this edition of The Hunter, we celebrate our 2026 NANA Award winners on pages ten and eleven. You can read highlights of shareholders making an impact at both NANA and Akima on pages three and nine. And on page nine, there is information from the Aqqaluk Trust where you can learn how to apply for scholarship funding.
The economic development and sustainability team is bringing NANA Net to life with the deployment of construction crews laying cable in the region. This monumental project will

deliver high speed, reliable internet to communities across our region. Regional leadership joined us to bless the start of project construction at an event in January. You can find more details about this project on page thirteen.
It is important to feel and express gratitude for the many blessings our company has enjoyed and been able to provide in recent years. At NANA, we do not take these blessings for granted. When confronted with the challenges and opportunities before us, our shared values, history, and community are a source of strength and resolve to remain focused on our primary mission of benefiting the shareholders of NANA.
Our company is made stronger by the participation and input of shareholders, and our collective strength over the long term continues to drive our corporation and people forward. I ' m excited to gather with many of you at the school in Noorvik on March 21, 2026, for our annual meeting.
Sincerely,
John Lincoln
