������������������������ The Glenview Men’ s Golf Club was formed by a small group of men who had played at Chesterfield Country Club after the club was purchased by the Glenview Park District in 1955. Even with over 200 members, the original purpose of forming the club was to provide good fellowship among those who had a common interest in the game of golf, is still alive today. The Glenview Men’ s Golf Club’ s mission is to provide all its members( regardless of their ability, background, or status) the opportunity to enjoy premier golf events and quality social experiences in a friendly, safe, inclusive, and comfortable environment. ������������������������������������������������������������������������������
������������������������������������������� The Glenview Park Golf Club Senior Men’ s League is a recreational golf league open to men 55 years of age and up. The Monday morning league runs May through September with front-9 play as standard and optional back-9 play available for players desiring a full 18-hole round. Tee-times are generally 7:00AM to 9:00AM and players are assigned to the same time and group for the season. Weekly front-9 scoring formats vary and use a handicap system to encourage friendly competition. The season ends with an 18-hole team scramble. ��������� The Villagers Golf League is a Monday morning, 9-hole woman’ s league that has been active for over 30 years. The league is open to all woman regardless of residency. With no handicap required and a fundamental golf skill level, this league is an excellent starting point for a new or existing league players. Our mission is to provide enjoyable golf and a quality experience in a friendly and comfortable environment. � League play is May through September. ������������������������������������������������������ ���������������������������������
������������������������ The Glenview Amateur Golf League( G. A. G.) is an18-hole Tuesday morning golf league for women. It is open to Glenview residents who enjoy fun competition, prizes, games and a few luncheons throughout the season. Members are required to have an official handicap. G. A. G. fields a team for competition in the Inter-Suburban Golf League and is affiliated with the Illinois Women’ s Golf Association and Women’ s Western Golf Association. �������������������������������������������������������������������������
����������������������� The Glenview Friday Golfers, organized in 1945, is a 9-hole league with some opportunity to play 18-holes on select days, open to residents of the Glenview Park District. The league plays Friday mornings May through September, with tee times beginning at 7 AM. League fees include monthly luncheons, weekly games and formats set up for both fun and competition. ���������������������� �������������������������������������������
