National Recovery Month
In observance of National Recovery Month, facilities across the state held events to celebrate hope and affirm that people can and do recover from substance use challenges.
Highest Number of GEDs
The Southeast Region Academic Education Team celebrated facilities in their region for achieving the highest number of GEDs in the first quarter of FY26. Congratulations to the following facilities:
• Montgomery State Prison- 18 GEDs
• Women’ s Probational Detention Center- 10 GEDs
• Wheeler Correctional Facility- 35 GEDs
