Congratulations to students at Wilcox SP who received their GEDs, program completion certificates, and career, technical, and higher education certifications. These accomplishments reflect their hard work, perseverance, and determination.
Autry SP held its first Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Commencement Ceremony, recognizing 13 graduates of a seven-week training program. These new Peer Specialists will take on leadership roles in the 90- day Managed Recovery Program, which supports substance use recovery, builds skills, and prepares participants for successful reintegration.
At Emanuel Women’ s Facility, 12 participants received certificates in the Braille program. This initiative, in collaboration with Georgia Tech’ s Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation, enables individuals to complete three different Braille certification programs: Library of Congress, Braille Formats, and Tactile Graphics.
