On Employee Appreciation Day, Commissioner Oliver shared a message to our GDC staff across the state- recognizing the commitment, resilience, and impact of those who serve every day.
Correctional Officers and Nurses were honored at the GDC Board meeting in May. During this meeting, the Board recognized the hard work and commitment of these correctional professionals. Additionally, they presented the prestigious Life Saving Award to several exceptional individuals who demonstrated courage and quick thinking during a critical incident.
