BCOT PREPARING THE OFFICERS OF TOMORROW
Basic Correctional Officer Training( BCOT) is a mandatory course for all Correctional Officers, required by the Georgia Peace Officers Standards and Training( POST). It equips officers with essential skills, including 40 hours of firearms training, practical exams, and written tests for certification.
The training focuses on teamwork, accountability, and the mission of public safety, while also emphasizing rehabilitation for offenders.
