SMITH STATE PRISON Smith State Prison recently hosted its sixth biannual Family Day, themed " Back to the 90s." This event brought together 63 eligible offenders and their family members to foster meaningful connections and promote positive family engagement, contributing to successful rehabilitation.
NATIONAL SECOND CHANCE MONTH GDC celebrated National Second Chance Month, which is dedicated to those who are ready to make a change and have successful reentry. It’ s a chance at a fresh start to a new journey that can benefit their reentry by learning to commitment to change, job resources, homing, and community connections.
