CANINE HANDLERS GDC canine handlers competed in the 1st Annual Moody AFB K9 Competition in Valdosta against 21 teams from agencies across South Georgia.
Thanks to their outstanding professionalism, teamwork, and dedication throughout the competition, K9 Handler Baker and his K9 Brave earned 1st Place overall, and K9 Handler Brown and his K9 Topee secured 2nd Place overall. Their performance reflects the high standards, discipline, and commitment to excellence within the GDC Canine Unit.
12TH ANNUAL FISHING RODEO GDC Headquarters was proud to host its 12th annual Fishing Rodeo at Lake Camaru at State Offices South at Tift College, welcoming more than 125 children and families for a day of fun, connection, and community. A special thank you to everyone who donated toys, fishing rods, and their time to help make this event so meaningful. Your generosity and support created lasting memories and reminded us of the power of coming together to invest in our youth and strengthen our community. We are grateful to everyone who helped make the day such a success!
