Carol ' s story
I ' m Carol, a CDC employee working in environmental health, and this is my radon story.
Because of my work with CDC, I have been aware of the dangers of radon for years. I knew it was an odorless, colorless gas in the air that comes from rocks, soil, and water and can seep into homes from the ground without any signs.
