What makes Eden Prairie special isn’ t something you’ ll find on a list— it’ s what residents experience every day. It’ s a place where people feel connected, supported and inspired to build their lives.
This Community Guide is a starting point. Inside, you’ ll find local events, resources, schools, houses of worship and ways to get involved. You’ ll also discover nonprofit organizations and service clubs that make a real difference— and are always looking for others to join them.
Eden Prairie is known for its parks and trails, but what sets us apart is the range of experiences available yearround. From dog parks and disc golf to an archery range, skate plaza and outdoor amphitheater, there’ s something for everyone. In winter, outdoor rinks, cross-country ski trails and the sledding hill at Staring Lake Park keep residents
active and connected.
You can spend an evening at the Staring Lake Observatory, explore nature at the Outdoor Center or take a class at the Art Center. The Community Center remains a hub for all ages, offering fitness, aquatics, ice rinks and more, while the Senior Center provides opportunities for older adults to stay engaged and active.
Throughout the year, events bring people together and create lasting memories— from summer concerts, theater and movies at the Staring Lake Amphitheatre to the 4th of July Hometown Celebration.
What truly defines Eden Prairie is how people show up for one another. I encourage you to use this guide to find your place here— whether that’ s working, volunteering, making connections or building a life.
