Leaf Fest – Typically held on Saturday in mid-October, 1-4 p. m., Caponi Art Park and Learning Center, 1220 Diffley Road, Eagan. Includes art activities, make-your-own treats, playing in the leaves and enjoying the fall colors. More information is at caponiartpark. org.
Halloween Trail Walk- Typically held the week before Halloween at Legends Crossings at Viking Lakes, 2685 Vikings Circle. Attendees can visit trick or treat stations. Event also includes music and games. Outdoor event will take place rain or shine.
Eagan Indoor Market – Eagan Community Center, 1507 Central Pkwy. Typically held November to April on Wednesdays. Check cityofeagan. com for 2025-26 season information.
Eagan Tree Lighting – Early December, Eagan Community Center and Central Park, 1507 Central Pkwy., Eagan. Event includes crafts, music, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. More is at cityofeagan. com.

Frosty Festival – Eagan Festival Grounds near the Eagan Community Center, 1501 Central Pkwy. Held in January or early February featuring sledding, snow building, music, cocoa, bonfire, snowshoeing and more. More information at cityofeagan. com.
Holz Farm Spring Festival – Held annually in May, Holz Farm Park, 4665 Manor Drive, Eagan. Friends of the Holz Farm event celebrates spring at the 1940s restored park featuring hayrides, music and activities for all ages. Dakota County Historical Society – Historic sites open for the tour season in May at the LeDuc Historic Estate and Sibley Historic Site. Admission for tours at each site in 2026 was $ 10 for adults, $ 8 for seniors( 60-plus), $ 6 for students( ages 5-17) and free for children four years and younger. Members of the Dakota County Historical Society also receive free admission for general tours. Registration for both sites is limited, so book ahead. DCHS also operates the Lawshe Memorial Museum, 130 Third Avenue N. in South St. Paul. DCHS memberships range from $ 25 to $ 60 for individuals and house-
