DARTS seeks volunteers for respite activity, in-home Break Buddy, as a Learning Buddy or Pen Pal with an Eagan elementary school class, by mowing grass, or raking leaves. dartsconnects. org / volunteer.
The Open Door has volunteer opportunities to stock shelves, shop with clients, stock and drive the Mobile Pantry. Garden-to-Table volunteers weed plots, shovel mulch, and share their garden know-how. More is at theopendoorpantry. org / get-involved / volunteer.
Kids‘ n Kinship is a nonprofit mentoring organization for children ages 5-16 who are in need of a positive adult role model. Volunteers spend 1-4 hours per week with the child. Typical activities might include picnicking, attending sporting events, hobbies, baking cookies or going to the movies. Volunteers make a one-year commitment. 360 Communities provides hope and support to more than 16,000 individuals each year with nine programs in over 40 locations, including a network of five food shelves, two domestic violence shelters, two resource centers, and two programs that support school success from birth through high school graduation.
