upbeat music and motivational storytelling. The show will take place on the south side of Ahlberg Hall and fair office.
This year there will be 45 free family-friendly shows and attractions. This includes the All American Lumberjack shows that showcase skills in log rolling, axe throwing, and x-cut sawing. Several lumberjacks go head-to-head competition designed to entertain audiences and showcase their aptitude with an axe and more.
Farmer Phil returns with his Ag-Magic Shows where he brings his family-friendly showmanship with humor and magic.“ Phil” also makes twisted balloon creatures inside the Ag Experience building. As a fourth generation farmer,“ Phil” travels to county fairs entertaining and educating
crowds about the magic of agriculture. The show is designed to engage children and spark their wonder and curiosity about farming.

Grandstand shows
The fair leaders said the event has built a reputation of entertaining in the grandstands with sold-out shows. This year ticketed grandstand events can only be purchased online at www / dakotacountyfair. org., or at the grandstand gate.
The 2026 grandstand schedule includes:
- Free ATV Rodeo-style Races 7-9 p. m. Monday, Aug. 10. No tickets are required for spectators and gates open at 5 p. m.
- Free Kids Mutton Bustin
’ 7-8:30 p. m. Tuesday, Aug. 11.
- Rodeo Night 7-9 p. m. Wednesday, Aug. 12. The rodeo features bull riding, ranch broncos and barrels. Advance tickets are recommended due to popularity.
- Three Demoltion Derby shows at 7:30 p. m. Thursday and Friday, and 6 p. m. Saturday. Buy advance tickets at www. DakotaCountyFair. org / Tickets.
The Thursday demo show will entertain with 80s Light Build, Compact Youth, Compact Clash, Duo Vans, and Mighty Minis.
The Friday derby will feature Half Ton Trucks, 80s Light Build, Lawnmowers, Mid-Size Chain, and Minnesota Classic.
