Carl Almquist Ball Fields— St. Croix Trail / Highway 95, has nine + acres, two ball fields with overhead lighting, a concession stand, playground equipment, picnic tables, picnic shelter, bleachers and dugouts.
Amador Heritage Center Museum and Swedish-Immigrant Log Farm— located on a 13-acre park-like setting currently featuring a 1910 two-room brick school museum, three pre-1890 log cabins, one 1880 era log Granary and log barn. The site includes playground equipment and walking trails.
The museum features portions of the original church. The center also holds models of the area’ s first creamery and church and a large variety of local memorabilia. The museum is open June through September on Sunday afternoons from 1-4 p. m. if a volunteer is available. Call for an appointment to view the museum or to use the picnic shelter for an event. A picnic shelter with eight picnic tables is available for family reunions and other events.

NORTH BRANCH TOWNSHIP

Established in 1869, North Branch Township is in Isanti County and has a population of 1,737. Three board supervisors govern the town and meet at 7 p. m. the first Thursday of each month at the Town Hall. Supervisors include Ron Pederson, Dean Beenken and Scott Anderson, and other officials are Town Clerk Shawn Williams( email: shawnw @ twp. northbranch. mn. us), Deputy Clerk Angela Tveit, and Treasurer Bonnie Mettling. Town hall is where residents go to vote in general elections.
