1) Becklin Homestead Park— 34605 Holly Street NW, Cambridge, offers more than three miles of mowed trails open to hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. A boat / canoe access to the Rum River, wheelchair-accessible picnic shelter available for reservation, picnic tables, grills, kids’ play area, observation platform, benches, restroom, an interpretive trail, and geocaching are also available. Hunting through the Capable Partners Program during state seasons is permitted to hunters with permanent disabilities.
2) Dalbo County Park— 37481 Helium Street NW, Dalbo, offers one mile of mowed trails open to hiking, biking, horseback riding, and snowshoeing. The 40-acre park has two picnic tables, boardwalks across wetlands, interpretive signage and geocaching.
3) Irving & John Anderson County Park— 27241 Furman Street NE, North Branch, offers one mile of paved trail, more than six miles of multi-use trails open to hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, and skiing. A wheelchair-accessible picnic shelter available for reservation, picnic tables, grills, observation platform, canoe access to Horseleg Lake, benches, restroom, boardwalks across wetlands, geocaching, an off-leash dog park, and kids’ play area are also provided.
4) Springvale County Park— 3361 Hwy 95 NW, Cambridge, offers 1.3 miles of paved trail as well as 2.5 miles of mowed multi-use trails open for hiking, biking, horseback riding, skiing, snowshoeing, and geocaching. The park includes 6.5 miles of single-track mountain bike trails, an 18-hole disc golf course and picnic tables, benches, restrooms, interpretive signage, kids play area, along with a wheelchair-accessible picnic shelter that is available for reservation.
5) Vegsund Family County Park— 40097 Polk Street NE, Stanchfield, offers a half mile of paved trail along with an additional 1.5 miles of gravel surfaced multi-use trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and snowshoeing. Also provided are a fishing pier, canoe access to Lake Seventeen, wheelchair-accessible picnic shelter available for reservation, picnic tables, grills, benches, restroom, open-grass play area and geocaching.
6) Wayside Prairie County Park— 27800 Verdin Street NW, Isanti, offers two miles of mowed multiuse trails open for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and snowshoeing. A picnic shelter is available for reservation and the park includes picnic tables, grills, restroom, boardwalks across wetlands, interpretive signage and geocaching.
