Isanti County is divided into five( 5) districts represented by an elected Board of Commissioners:

Other elected county officials’ names are listed in the county directory here and on the county’ s website. They include the County Attorney, who serves as legal advisor to the County Board and Commissions and as prosecutor on felony and gross misdemeanor counts. The Auditor-Treasurer handles receipt and payment of county claims; voter registration; driver’ s licenses; and passports. The Sheriff oversees law enforcement, public protection, and the county jail. The County Administrator assists the Board of Commissioners with operations and manages employees. Board meetings take place the first and third Tuesday of the month.
