​Cambridge-Isanti High School is committed to educating, empowering, and inspiring every student who walks through its doors. Strong relationships are at the heart of CIHS, where dedicated staff support students in discovering their strengths, pursuing their passions, and preparing for future success. A wide range of academic opportunities allows students to earn college credit through Advanced Placement( AP), Post-Secondary Enrollment Options( PSEO), College in the Schools, and articulated college credit courses, while hands-on experiences through Work Based Learning and the Advanced Manufacturing Program( AMP) connect learning to real-world application.
Through four Career ​Pathways​— Arts, Communications, and Information Systems; Business, Management, and Administration; Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technology; and Health Sciences, Human Services, and Agriculture / Natural Resources​— students explore meaningful career ​opportunities. Partnerships with regional medical centers, manufacturers, technical and community colleges, local businesses, and county agencies further enhance authentic learning and career readiness.
Beyond the classroom, more than 70 arts, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities inspire students to grow as leaders, teammates, and creators. As a member of the Mississippi 8 Conference, CIHS offers competitive athletic programs and outstanding facilities, including multiple athletic fields, gyms, a swimming pool, and the Richard G. Hardy Performing Arts Center— bringing performances, concerts, and community events together in a space that reflects the pride of ​the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets.
RIVERSIDE ACADEMY( 6 – 12)
Riverside Academy is a student-centered alternative learning environment located on our Woodland Campus, designed for those who benefit from a non-traditional approach to education. We focus on building deep relationships and inspiring confidence through flexible scheduling, research-based interventions, and work-based learning. By providing on-site support for emotional and mental well-being, Riverside helps students overcome challenges, recover credits, and successfully earn their high school diplomas in a community that truly understands their needs.
BROOKSIDE ACADEMY( K – 12)
Brookside Academy is a specialized Level IV program that serves students with unique educational and behavioral needs in a highly supportive, small-group setting. Located on our multi-age Woodland Campus, Brookside provides a 2:1 student-to-staff ratio and trauma-informed care to ensure every child feels safe and understood. Our curriculum is closely aligned with district standards to support reintegration, focusing on social skills and restorative practices to help every student grow at their own pace.
MOVING FORWARD( AGES 18 – 21)
The Moving Forward Transitions Program empowers young adults with disabilities to bridge the gap between high school and a self-sufficient adulthood. Located on our Woodland Campus, the program focuses on real-world vocational training, independent living skills, and community integration. Through hands-on experience in our Practical Assessment Exploration System( PAES) Lab and individualized work-skills programming, we ensure our graduates have a clear, supported path toward a bright and independent future.
