HISTORY & SOCIAL SCIENCES

A solid foundation in history and social science is essential to preparing students for the challenges of a changing world. Through a threeyear progression of grade-level courses, and diverse elective and AP course offerings, students will develop the historical knowledge and skills necessary for lives as informed and engaged citizens. Expected progression of grade-level courses: Grade 9- Roots of the Modern World( full year course) Grade 10- US History( full year course; graduation requirement) Grade 11- Personal Finance( one-semester) and Civics & Government( one-semester).
