Availability
Ship week 50 2023 through week 23 2024 . Subject to URC availability and minimum box requirements . Begonias are only available from week 50 to week 15 .
Due to the limitations of shipping into Category 1 states at certain times of the year , because of the Japanese beetle regulations , the following states will not be available to ship to from week 23 to week 40 :
Category 1 states : Arizona , California , Hawaii , Idaho , Montana , Nevada , Oregon , Utah , Washington .
This does not include poinsettias , which are rooted in an inert media and exempt from the restrictions . Live availability of rooted cuttings can be found by clicking on the Lucas Availability / ePicas link on our website @ www . LucasGreenhouses . com Growing and culture information , as well as a picture , can also be found for most varieties . There is also the ability to export to an excel file and print this information out .
Orders
Late orders based on availability may be placed up to 6pm EST Monday for shipping the same week . Changes need to be made to orders by 4pm EST on Tuesday the week prior to ship . No deletions will be accepted after tuesday and additions will be entered as a late order requiring a new PO . The late order may not ship with the original order . One order may be placed for all products . Orders must be seperated by Spring Plants , Mums , Poinsettias , and Prefinished Plants
Cancellations
Any cancellations in full or part , within 9 weeks of the ship date will be immediately invoiced at 33 % as a restocking fee . The restocking fee will absolve the broker of other penalties whether the cuttings are resold or not .
Claims
Claims , including those involving shipping / transportation , shortages or cutting quality must be reported to Lucas within 48 hours of receipt of cuttings . Details of the claim should include the nature of the problem ( frozen cuttings , small cuttings , poorly rooted , etc .) Varieties impacted and quantity of cuttings affected should also be included . Pictures of affected material must be included and / or the sales rep should visit to verify the claim . Quantities affected should be finalized within 2 weeks of receipt of cuttings . Lucas Greenhouses reserves the right to deny any claim without prompt notification of a customer problem If a substitution is made by Lucas Greenhouses , and the sub is not acceptable , a claim must be submitted within 4 weeks of Lucas sending acknowledgement of the sub .
TAGS :
Tags are optional , but will be included unless specified “ No tags ”. Tags may be ordered in 1:1 or 1:4 tag to cutting ratios . Tags are bundled according to tray counts . Orders prebooked and shipped on schedule will have tags arrive before the shipment . Tags are shipped directly from MasterTag . Orders are sent to MasterTag every Monday and Thursday . Orders based on availability and made within 2 weeks of shipping may not have the tags arrive until after the cuttings have shipped . ( Example : if an order is placed Wednesday the week prior to shipping , the tag order will transfer on Thursday and then it may take up to 10 business days for the tags to be delivered .) If a change is made to an order by the broker / customer after the tags have been processed , they are still the responsibility of the broker .
