TRACK DESCRIPTIONS

Utility Risk and Resilience— This track focuses on the strategic frameworks and organizational approaches that enable utilities to identify, prioritize, and proactively manage a wide spectrum of risks. Sessions will cover risk assessment tools, enterprise risk management( ERM), business continuity planning, and the role of collaboration in preparedness.
Data, AI, and Automation— Utilities are embracing digital tools to increase situational awareness, optimize performance, and anticipate risks in real time. This track explores the fast-moving world of digital transformation, including IoT, AI / ML, digital twins, and cybersecurity strategies to support operational resilience.
Asset Management— Explore how utilities are leveraging modern asset management practices and technologies to extend infrastructure life, reduce failure risk, and optimize maintenance. This track will highlight condition assessments, risk-informed asset planning, and integration of data from GIS, SCADA, CMMS, and other platforms.
Design, Engineering & Operations and Maintenance— This track dives deep into the essential, interconnected roles of design, engineering, and operations & maintenance( O & M) in creating and sustaining resilient water utilities. It explores how thoughtful design and innovative engineering practices can future-proof infrastructure, while strong O & M strategies ensure system performance and service continuity under stress— from everyday wear to extreme events.
Vision, Value, and Investment— This track explores how utilities prioritize investments, partner with communities, embrace innovative project delivery, and secure funding for adaptive infrastructure.
