Implementation of Process Improvement Initiatives
When asked about six targeted improvement initiatives, most medical staff leadership reported they were already in place at their organizations. For every initiative, respondents who had implemented each initiative rated its importance far higher than those who had not – strong evidence that each element genuinely matters once teams see it in action. This makes sense, as streamlining workflows is a regular priority for medical staff services departments and a key focus for leadership. Moving to automated, paperless credentialing processes reduces turnaround times, improves accuracy, decreases administrative burden, strengthens compliance, and speeds up provider onboarding.
