Video Series: This is Fernie! with Sadie
This is Fernie! with Sadie is Tourism Fernie’ s video series that originally launched in 2022 and has produced 14 episodes by the end of 2025. The goal of the project is to bring Fernie’ s unique character to life through engaging storytelling. The episodes are 5-8 min long and they celebrate Fernie’ s vibrant community, showcase a range of experiences, and offer an entertaining and light-hearted look at people and places that make Fernie special. With host Sadie Rosgen leading the way, the series has become a fun and authentic way to connect with audiences and inspire future visitors.
In 2024 the series caught the eye of the Rogers TV Cranbrook produces and most of the episodes have been airing on their broadcast channels in the East and West Kootenays into Pentincton.
Our team was able to produce only one full episode in 2025 due to other major projects taking up staff capacity. Episode # 14 is dedicated to the iconic Wapiti Music Festival, videography was done by Charles David Rondeau, production by Tourism Fernie staff.
