Tourism Fernie recognizes the vital role local events play in both the community life and visitor experiences. In 2025 we helped spread the awareness of a variety of events by running targeted advertising campaigns to boost attendance. Through digital promotions, social media outreach, consumer newsletters, print advertising and other efforts, we helped highlight Fernie’ s vibrant scene, ensuring strong local engagement while attracting visitors to enjoy and celebrate alongside our welcoming community.
Tactic 1 – Print Ads Full page print ads in The Trench Magazine, distributed seasonally in 400 + high-traffic areas from Crowsnest to Creston to Golden. Circulation & Readership: 75,000
