AmbassodorWILD™ Community Outreach & Visitor Education
Community outreach & visitor education remained a core pillar of the program. The team delivered 4“ AdventureSmart” workshops, hosted 7 well-attended bear spray safety workshops, and led a school field trip“ Leave No Trace” to Silver Springs.
Additionally, AmbassadorWILD™ partnered with local organizations to support events and clean-ups like“ Elk River Alliance Annual River Clean UP”, supported more than 300 high school students during the“ Fernie Secondary School Clean Up Day”, supported FTA in taking surveys at key locations, watered the saplings at Morrissey supporting ERA, volunteered at the“ Polar Peek Book Train”, and supported a clean-up at the Hosmer Ruins Coal Mine Site with volunteers. The team participated in 15 community events like: Gravel Grind, Wednesday Socials, Family Safety Day, conducted 44 surveys at trailheads and boat launches to promote responsible recreation.
