Get Involved— SUPPORT HOPESGO5 AND HOSPITALITY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
You don’ t need to be a golf pro to make a lasting impact— businesses and individuals can play a vital role in Alaska’ s hospitality future by supporting the HOPESGO5 Federal grant program. Launching in Fall 2025, this initiative is a collaboration between the Alaska CHARR Educational Fund, local community-based organizations( CBOs), and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation( NRAEF). The program will focus on delivering expanded training and employment opportunities for at-risk youth in Alaska’ s hospitality industry.
This federal grant will provide the necessary resources to connect atrisk youth with real-world training while offering additional support services from CBOs. By engaging in this program, restaurants will not only strengthen their staff pipeline but also contribute to an important social cause.
Together, we can harness the power of HOPESGO5 to foster a skilled, resilient workforce in Alaska’ s hospitality sector— one that uplifts both employers and the community.

The Educational Fund’ s mission is crystal clear:“ Dedicated to cultivating and supporting a knowledgeable and skilled workforce for the Alaska hospitality industry”. By supporting events like this tournament, donors and industry professionals help open pathways for Alaskans to pursue careers as chefs, managers, servers, brewers, and more.
