a historic season where the team advanced to the section semifinals for the first time. The hard work, long practices, and shared determination created a deep sense of pride and strong friendships with her teammates and coaches. These moments taught her discipline, perseverance, and how to perform under pressure— lessons she carried into the classroom.
One of her favorite experiences was taking a course that allowed her to observe and assist in elementary classrooms, which deepened her interest in education and child development.
She also joined a new program called Readers to Leaders, where she participated in a pen-pal exchange with 5th graders at Hassan Elementary. Through this program, she wrote letters to help the students strengthen their writing skills and build connections with older students. Balancing the demands of school and athletics helped her develop strong time-management skills and a commitment to personal growth, making her high school journey both challenging and rewarding.
