Businesses find support in the valley
The local economy in the St. Croix Valley is boosted by organizations that support business.
The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce hosts events year-round, such as the World Snow Sculpting Championship, Food Truck Extravaganza, Lumberjack Days Parade, Rivertown Fall Art Festival, and Hometown for the Holidays. They also run programs that enhance leadership skills in professionals, help young people beginning of their careers, and bring women in business together, in addition to promoting local businesses with ribbon cutting events and marketing.

with 10 local affiliated community foundations throughout the valley, awards thousands of dollars in grants to nonprofit programs and services that promote art, music, mental health, education, and many other community needs and benefits.
Sustainable Stillwater MN has a Green Business Directory to shine a spotlight on organizations running their business sustainably.
One locally owned business in downtown Stillwater, River Market Community Co-op, is helping local farmers, producers, and food processors fund projects with their Growers, Grazers, Makers and Bakers grant program. They are almost always hosting a round-up program to benefits a local nonprofit.
Discover Stillwater promotes tourism through annual marketing campaigns, an official visitors guidebook and map, event sponsorships, and its website. They also encourage Stillwater area residents to stay connected with tourist attractions as ways to help plan weekend fun or to guide visiting friends and family.
