RICHFIELD
COMMUNITY GUIDE 2025
Many ways to connect with community
Community involvement opportunities, from public service to educational and recreational activities, are available throughout the year.
Richfield provides a variety of education and entertainment programming for residents of all ages at the Richfield Community Center. The center serves as home base for a robust schedule of classes and activities offered by the Richfield Recreation Department and provides a friendly gathering place for senior citizens and other community groups. Offerings include wellness and cultural classes, defensive-driving courses, weekly games, clubs and more. A social worker and nurse are on-site weekly to assist residents with any concerns.
The Community Center’ s programming also extends to the arts, with Read a Story Theater, creator space, a“ Movie of the Month” and poetry groups. For youngsters, the community center also hosts children’ s dance and sports programming.
When it comes to giving back, residents can get involved with the city by participating in a board or commission. Applications are accepted during the month of October, and fouryear terms begin in February. In exchange for both time and
