1 . EN 17353 2 . RECYCLED POLYESTER
3 . ORGANIC COTTON
Certification for enhanced visibility equipment for medium risk situations . This standard specifies requirements for enhanced visibility equipment in the form of garments , which can signal the user ’ s presence . The enhanced visibility equipment is intended to provide more conspicuous visibility of the wearer in medium risk situations under any daylight conditions and / or under illumination by vehicles headlights or searchlights in the dark .
All polyester fabric we use in PROGRESSI- ON collection is recycled from PET bottles . Recycled polyester significantly reduces the carbon footprint and energy consumption compared to virgin polyester . It also diverts plastic waste from landfills and oceans . rPET maintains the same properties as virgin polyester , such as durability , flexibility , and resistance to wrinkles and shrinkage .

MAJOR PROGRESSION BENEFITS

All cotton fabric we use in PROGRESSION collection is organic . Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides , herbicides , or genetically modified organisms ( GMOs ). The farming practices used to produce organic cotton aim to promote soil health , reduce environmental impact , and support biodiversity .
Organic cotton farming typically uses less water and energy compared to conventional cotton farming . It also avoids harmful chemicals , reducing pollution in soil and water and benefiting local ecosystems .
4 . LIFECYCLE ANALYSIS
Life-cycle assessment ( LCA ) is a process of evaluating the effects that a product has on the environment over the entire period of its life thereby increasing resource-use efficiency and decreasing liabilities . It can be used to study the environmental impact of either a product or the function the product is designed to perform .
5 . ISO 15797
Specifies test procedures and equipment which can be used in the evaluation of workwear intended to be industrially laundered . They serve as a basis for testing relevant properties such as dimensional stability , color characteristics , creasing , seam puckering , pilling and visual aspects in general .
6 . DECOMPOSTABLE PACKING
All garments in the PROGRESSION series are delivered in packing made of PLA material , a biodegradable polymer produced from renewable plant resources . By choosing PLA materials , we reduce the amount of plastic waste and the problems associated with the long degradation time of traditional plastics normally used in polybags .
LCA is commonly referred to as a ” cradle-to-grave ” analysis . LCA ’ s key elements are : ( 1 ) identify and quantify the environmental loads involved ; e . g . the energy and raw materials consumed , the emissions and wastes generated ; ( 2 ) evaluate the potential environmental impacts of these loads ; and ( 3 ) assess the options available for reducing these environmental impacts .
