All throughout the year, Plymouth is the place to be for a wide array of events to bring the community together. Whether it’ s the Minnesota Orchestra’ s annual reappearance at the Hilde, a showcase of local artists or a winter festival, the city has it all.
The Plymouth Arts Council, the city’ s volunteer program, the Parks and Recreation Department and the Plymouth Civic League all form one mighty coalition to make Plymouth an event hotspot.
PRIMAVERA
Each spring, the Plymouth Arts Council sponsors Primavera, Plymouth’ s annual springtime celebration of the arts. The four-day event features a juried art show, as well as musical and literary entertainment at the Plymouth Community Center.
FARMERS MARKET
The summer market features a variety of vendors who sell fresh, locally grown produce and prepared food. The event is held each summer( mid-June through early October) at Parkers Lake Playfield.

ENTERTAINMENT IN THE PARKS
Outdoor event opportunities ramp up in Plymouth during summer, making it virtually impossible not to find something to do. The summer schedule includes concerts for adults and children, a kids fest and many other events.
MUSIC IN PLYMOUTH
Music in Plymouth is the city’ s signature event of the summer, attracting an estimated 15,000 people to the Hilde Performance Center and outdoor amphitheater. For more than 50 years, the Plymouth Civic League and the City of Plymouth have presented this July outdoor music event featuring the Minnesota Orchestra, other musical acts and a grand finale fireworks display.
FIRE & ICE
Each winter, Parkers Lake Park becomes a winter wonderland – both on land and the frozen lake— for the annual Fire & Ice Festival. The winter celebration generally includes events like sled dog rides, cross-country skiing, recycling bin races, snow shoeing, miniature golf on ice, snow bowling, youth ice fishing contest, skating, food vendor, bingo, music and a grand finale fireworks show.
