Because of your generosity, access to care at Renown Health and across northern Nevada continues to grow. In 2025, philanthropy made the following possible:
Advanced Care Arrives:
• Deep Brain Stimulation For the first time in our region, patients with Parkinson’ s disease and other movement disorders can access deep brain stimulation to help manage symptoms and improve daily life.
• ECMO Care Strengthened Two additional ECMO VitalFlow systems were added, bringing Renown’ s total to five and strengthening lifesaving heart and lung care for critically ill patients.
• NICU Care Advances Eight new incubators were added to the region’ s only Level III NICU, helping premature and critically ill newborns stay warm, stable, and supported.
NATIONAL RECOGNITION MADE POSSIBLE BY DONORS

The Gerald“ Jerry” Smith Academic – Practice Partnership was recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing( AACN) for excellence in nursing education.
100 % Donor Funded The program provides tuition assistance and guaranteed employment at Renown for students graduating from the Orvis School of Nursing. Today, 60 students are benefiting.
