8. I’ ve watched or broadcasted so many games for you guys and the one thing that has always stood out for me is that you guys are almost impossible to put away in a game. When it matters most, y’ all have always found a way to win and it’ s almost like as a team you all are superhuman. Why is it that you guys are so clutch and hard for other teams to beat and put away? A wise person told me“ the game isn’ t over til’ the clock hits 0:00” so I play hard until the game is over. Coach Thaxton has told us defense wins games. In those games, we get stops and find the hot hand to make shots and most of the time that’ s me. I am very confident in taking the last shot for us to win the game and most of the time it goes in.
9. You are a multisport athlete and have played on a back to back state runner-up team in football. What has it been like being on a Warrior football team that has been so successful? It feels great knowing I been a part of EPC football program and had the chance to be a part of the back to back runner ups.
10. What it has been like playing for Coach Powell? Coach Powell is a great coach. Each year I played for him he gave me very important roles on the team, and I am thankful that he was my coach. I wish I would’ ve won him a state title too.
