The BeltLine
The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive transportation and economic development effort ever undertaken in the city of Atlanta and among the largest , most wide-ranging urban redevelopment programs currently underway in the United States .
Comprised of 22 miles of unused railroad tracks circling the core of Atlanta ’ s Intown neighborhoods , the BeltLine has quickly become one of the city ’ s top attractions , as well as a catalyst for local business and residential development .
Most of the Beltline ’ s main multi-use trail is already finished or under construction and expected to be completed before the city hosts the 2026 World Cup . The entire multi-use trail is to be completed by 2030 .
