The Milaca Area Pantry represents a community that cares . We thoughtfully and respectfully provide emergency food support to our neighbors and friends . We distribute more than food . Food care brings smiles to children ’ s faces , relief to parents and security to seniors .
Food relief is offered to the residents of Bock , Foreston , Milaca , Pease and neighboring townships .
The Milaca Area Pantry first opened its doors in 1983 . Since its incorporation , the pantry has been directed by a twelve member board and regular volunteer staff . Thousands of families have been assisted through emergency food relief , and has been awarded the Hungers Hope Award for serving clients with exemplary dignity and respect , while having excellent volunteer support .
The Pantry is located in the heart of downtown at 120 Second Ave . SW , Milaca , and is open the first four Thursdays of each month from 10 a . m . to 6 p . m .
