MILACA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Protecting our community and improving quality of life through service , education and enforcement is the mission of the Milaca Police Department . Milaca police officers provide police services that include regular street patrol , investigations , medical response and mutual aid assistance to other agencies . The Milaca Police Department has a long history of community involvement and community engagement through special presentations at the schools and to other community organizations .
The department averages approximately 35,000 miles of patrol and responds to more than 4,000 service calls per year . The office is located in Milaca City Hall and is open Monday through Friday . The Milaca Police Department can be reached for non-emergency calls at 320-983-6166 .
MILACA FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Milaca Volunteer Fire Department includes about 25 firefighters from Milaca and the surrounding area . In addition to answering over 100 fire calls a year , the Milaca Fire Department promotes fire safety by recognizing and promoting National Fire Safety Week , sponsoring presentations and hosting a local fire-safety poster contest at the Milaca Elementary School . It also hosts an annual open house at their location of 1005 Central Ave . N ., inviting the community
to meet the firefighters , and to see the trucks , gear and tools they use .
The Milaca Volunteer Fire Department trains over 30 days a year , ensuring they are up to date on all safety protocols .
