Emelie Crumbaker( left) is the owner and CEO of Misty Mountain Mfg. Her motherin-law purchased the company in 1984 and quickly relocated it from Skykomish to Seattle. It operates in the Georgetown neighborhood and, now in its second generation, is still a woman-owned manufacturing business. They produce high-quality totes under the Jensen Lee brand and custom-made products. They are a cut-and-sew factory, which means their 22 employees spread the fabric, cut it, and sew it to their customer’ s specifications. Restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, sports teams and many other organizations market their brands using Misty Mountain tote bags. They offer affordable pricing. Local manufacturing means customers can continue to work with their preferred screen printer or embroiderer.
