LAKEVILLE
COMMUNITY GUIDE 2025-26
Businesses are stronger, together
The Lakeville Chamber of Commerce and Visit Lakeville, the Lakeville Convention & Visitors Bureau, bring people together with the purpose to help businesses thrive in the community. Celebrating its 77th year in 2025, the chamber continues to serve as an advocate, resource and leader for its members and the business community.
It does this by providing members opportunities for networking, marketing and promotions, education and professional growth and workforce development by connecting local job seekers with openings through LakevilleWorks. org The chamber’ s ongoing relationship with the city, schools, local and state officials allows it to advocate for businesses, as elected leaders are making decisions that affect the business community.
The Lakeville Chamber has grown to be the largest chamber in Dakota County and one of the top 10 chambers in the state, representing nearly 600 area businesses. It connects them to each other, customers and potential new employees throughout the year in many ways.
Networking events include the chamber’ s Good Morning Lakeville series, Lunch Mobs, and a handful of content driven luncheons, including State of the Business Community, State of the Schools, and the annual Celebrate Tourism luncheon. Signature events, like the Annual Dinner, Fall Gala and Golf Classic, give businesses an opportunity to market their brand, and meet key individuals in the business community. All events come with sponsorship
opportunities that include various levels of marketing and engagement. The Women’ s Symposium is a half-day of fun, development, shopping and networking- it also includes recognition for the Business Woman of the Year, celebrating a woman who has made a significant contribution in the community.
The Chamber also helps the business community meet and connect with local residents. Landscape, Home & Community Expo is one of the most visible local marketing efforts the chamber offers, with over 150 vendors and a couple thousand attendees each March. The Area Guide and Member Directory provides a valuable resource of trusted businesses and an at-one’ s-fingertips resource to residents and businesses in both print and online. The New Resident Mailing goes out once per quarter and is filled with fliers and information to help welcome new families to the city. The Chamber Connection magazine is mailed to every registered business in the 55044 zip code and offers members an opportunity for business to business marketing.
The Chamber and city partner together to celebrate business success through ribbon-cuttings for new businesses and owners or groundbreakings for a new site or an expansion.
