Bella Finnegan showed a wide array of offensive and defensive skills in helping the Skippers place third at state last season . She was dynamic in rushing the puck and piled up 30 points on 14 goals and 16 assists as a junior .
ASHLYN HAZLETT MINNETONKA GOALIE
Senior Ashlyn Hazlett played a big role in Minnetonka ’ s success last season . She earned a place on the All-Lake Conference team with an overall record of 15-1-0 and seven shutout performances .
LAYLA HEMP MINNETONKA GOALIE
Future Gopher goaltender Layla Hemp is in her fourth season of varsity high school hockey . Last season she alternated with teammate Ashlyn Hazlett . In 14 starts , Hemp had five shutouts and an overall record of 11-2-1 .
WHITNEY HORTON EDINA FORWARD
With a good season this winter , Edina senior Whitney Horton has a chance to reach the 150-point mark . She starred for last season ’ s state champions with 40 points on 22 goals and 18 assists . She skates on a line with Lorelai Nelson and Charlotte Theirl .
LUCY JOHNSON HOPKINS / PARK FORWARD
Junior forward Lucy Johnson provided leadership for Hopkins last year while playing alongside leading scorer Avery Shaw , a 2024 graduate . Johnson is the offensive leader now after netting 27 points last season with 14 goals and 13 assists .
AVA JOVAN BUFFALO GOALIE
None of the other Lake Conference teams ever feel good about a matchup with Buffalo senior goalie Ava Jovan . She kept the Bison in games last season with a . 914 save percentage and a goals-against average of 3.41 . In 26 games , her record was 3-18-5 .
ELLA KONRAD EDEN PRAIRIE FORWARD
A defenseman for most of her high school career , Eden Prairie senior captain Ella Konrad has switched to forward for her senior year . From her post on defense last season , she made All-
Lake Conference with 19 points on four goals and 15 assists .

Senior forward Senja Leeper of the Minnetonka Skippers is very consistent in all phases of play . Last season she was among the top playmakers in the Lake Conference , finishing with 29 points on 10 goals and 19 assists .
LAUREN MACK MINNETONKA FORWARD
Feisty Minnetonka senior Lauren Mack finished third in the Lake Conference girls hockey scoring race last season . Her final numbers were 51 points on 19 goals and 32 assists . She was the player the Skippers looked to in the big games .
REESE MCCONNELL EDINA GOALIE
Senior Reese McConnell of the Edina girls hockey team was brilliant down the stretch last season as the Hornets won the state Class AA title . Her overall record as a junior was 15- 2-0 with a goals against average of 0.87 .
CATE MCCOY EDINA FORWARD
Already a three-year Lake Conference varsity player , Edina junior Cate McCoy is an aggressive player with a combination of offensive and defensive skills . When she goes after a puck in the corner , she usually skates away with it . Last season she had 31 points on 14 goals and 17 assists .
ADDY MITCHELL EDEN PRAIRIE FORWARD
A varsity hockey player since eighth-grade , Eden Prairie senior Addy Mitchell is an all-around forward . Her production last season was 19 points on eight goals and 11 assists . She is well on her way to surpassing those totals this season .
LORELAI NELSON EDINA FORWARD
Not many high school hockey players reach the 100-point mark the first week of their junior season , but Nelson did that this year . She was among the conference leaders last season with 15 goals and 28 assists for 43 points . Her overall game earned Nelson a place on the All-Lake squad .
