Edward Moses is more than a visual storyteller— he’ s a musician, songwriter, and filmmaker whose creativity is deeply rooted in faith and service. With more than 13 years of professional experience in video production, photography, sound design, and editing, he has spent the past six years at Old Dominion University transforming campus moments into cinematic narratives that celebrate student life and connect the Monarch community.
An award-winning film director with an MFA in Film and Television, Moses recently completed his PhD in International Studies, where his research explored the intersection of film, global conflict, and institutional failure— using cinema as a tool to critique and inspire transformation within international bodies like the United Nations.
Beyond the lens, Moses is a gifted musician and songwriter. He has already produced the music videos for three original songs— with more on the way— each a reflection of his desire to uplift and inspire. Grounded in Philippians 4:13,“ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” he sees every creative opportunity as a chance to serve others.
His talents also extend into the local community. Moses serves as video director for two Virginia Beach-based nonprofit organizations, where he leads media teams in crafting impactful content for community and faith-based outreach. His leadership is marked by humility, excellence, and a deep commitment to mentoring others.
Whether he ' s composing a song, directing a film, or capturing a powerful moment on camera, Moses brings passion, purpose, and heart to everything he does— and SEES is all the better for it.
