Welcome
On behalf of the Office of the Vice President for Research and the College of Medicine, we are thrilled to welcome you to our launch of the Institute for Connecting Nutrition and Health( ICON-Health) in coordination with Discovery Days 2025!
Today’ s symposium is designed to showcase innovative nutrition research happening across Florida State University.
ICON-Health is uniquely positioned to become a national and global leader in research, education, outreach and public engagement on food and nutrition in human health. We are achieving this by engaging faculty expertise across virtually all Florida State University colleges and programs and building upon the strengths of the FSU College of Medicine, which reaches and serves Florida communities in the greatest need. By collaborating with FSU Health and our partnering medical centers, our institute is laser-focused on finding solutions to improve human health and economic prosperity.
We are proud to present you with this program and invite you to learn more about the exciting work ahead. Thank you for joining us today and we hope you will help us # BeAnICON4Health!
Enjoy the symposium.
