A tender warrior known in the home building industry as“ Captain Nice,” he was one of his area’ s leading custom home builders for over 30 years and served for 17 years as a member of the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board. He is a Past President of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, a former Golden Gloves amateur boxer, and a longtime official at high school and college football games.( Elected to Hall in 1993)
