An innovative pioneer in the Florida home building industry, he developed the land use plan for the City of Miami and was among the first builders to sell homes from models. He served as 1953 President of the Florida Home Builders Association and helped launch FHBA’ s first insurance programs for members. FHBA annually honors this longtime supporter of the arts with a theatre student scholarship.( Charter Member, Elected to Hall in 1990; also member of the National Housing Hall of Fame)
