For 41 years, as a senior editor of Professional Builder magazine and real estate editor of the Miami Herald, he educated his readers on housing issues. He won more than 50 awards for his journalistic excellence, including induction into the Builders Association of South Florida Hall of Fame. The Florida Home Builders Association presents an annual award in his name to honor outstanding real estate journalists.( Elected to Hall in 1991)
