While working for the Veteran’ s Administration, he was involved in the day-to-day details of financing housing for rural and urban families and was instrumental in the passage of legislation to help veterans buy second homes, showing what can be accomplished when private enterprise and government work together.( Charter Member, Elected to Hall in 1990)
