Devoted to Home Builders Association leadership for over 28 years as both a builder and an associate member, he was the Builders Association of Greater Tampa’ s first Associate of the Year in 1977 and its President in 1989. He was similarly honored by the Florida Home Builders Association, where he served as Second Vice President, led membership efforts and created a state Trades Council to serve the subcontractor and supplier members. He was FHBA’ s Associate of the Year in 1983.( Elected to Hall in 1998; also a member of the National Hall of Honored Associates)
