Olympic Green - 5211 226th Ave . NE , features a basketball court , swings , playground equipment , picnic tables , benches and parking .
Paradise Point Park – Undeveloped parkland located on the shores of Fawn Lake
Playful Shadows - 23461 Japura St . NE , consists of a playground and a woodland nature walking trail .
Woodlyn Park – 240th Ave . NE and Purdue Street NE , undeveloped park land .
SCANDIA
Bicycle routes - Through the efforts of the Friends of Scandia Parks and Trails , a designated number of cycling routes are marked through the city . A map is available online at cityofscandia . com / residents / visit / recreation . php under “ cycling Scandia ” or at the city offices . In early 2024 , Scandia and Washington County began studying how to make the city center more accessible to walkers and bikers to prepare for a redesign project .
Community Center - 14727 209th Street North , there is an updated children ’ s playground , tennis and pickleball courts with pickleball adjusting straps and court markings for both sports . The community center is a well-used facility that houses the city offices , banquet hall with kitchen facilities , meeting rooms , restrooms and outdoor recreational facilities on an 18-acre site .
Goose Lake Boat Launch - 22001 Oldfield Avenue North , there is a small boat launch for Goose Lake .
Leonard Wojtowicz Skating Rink - 14727 209th Street North , is an ice skating rink with warming house facilities that transforms to a skateboard park from spring through fall . Skateboard park amenities include bump-to-bump , kicker , four-foot street spine , fun box and grind rail . The city offers ice skating instruction and the ice rink is available for reservations .
Lilleskogen Park - 14600 Oakhill
Road , offers eight acres of wooded terrain where the “ Children ’ s Story Path ” program allows pedestrians to walk the paths while following story excerpts . A Veterans Memorial was installed at the site in 2017 .
Lions Park at Hay Lake - 14001 Old Marine Trail , a seven-acre site that has a park shelter , picnic tables , grills , lighting and electrical hookups . Use of the shelter is first-come , first served unless it is reserved in advance .
Liten Park - 20030 Orwell Avenue North , Scandia ’ s newest park offers trails , signage and a picnic area with parking .
Log House Landing - located at the east end of 205th Street North , this historic area provides access to the St . Croix River .
Scandia T-ball field - 14849 Oakhill
Road North . South Ball field - 20835 Olinda Trail . Wayne Erickson Memorial Ball Park - 21398 Olinda Trail , includes a lighted ball field , concession stands and children ’ s play area .
Wind in the Pines Park - 22199 St . Croix Tail , features 44 ecologically diverse acres with restored prairie and old-growth forest with trails available for non-motorized use .
Trails , open spaces and undeveloped parks in and around Scandia provide hikers , bicyclists , skiers , geocachers , nature lovers and wildlife watchers many opportunities to do what they enjoy .
WYOMING
The city of Wyoming maintains 17 parks and a network of neighborhood trails with easy access to the county-managed Sunrise Prairie Trail , which parallels Highway 61 . Some park pavilions and other facilities may be reserved . A seven-member Park Advisory Commission , comprised of five citizens and two council members , meets once a month , and works to maintain and develop the city ’ s parks , in addition to proposing budgets to the council .
Ashton – intersection of Galen Drive / Flint Trail / 261st Street , offers a variety of play equipment , swing sets and picnic tables .
Banta – Fondant Avenue , has a softball field , variety of playground equipment and a picnic shelter available for reservation .
Blue Spruce – 262nd Street , has a paved basketball court , picnic tables and playground area with a variety of equipment .
Centennial – corner of Fenwick Avenue and 270th Street , has historical significance and offers a quiet setting , many shade trees , picnic tables and a grill .
Comfort Lake – 25578 Iris Avenue , offers a pond , native plantings and limestone walking trail , picnic table and large playground equipment . The DNR maintains a nearby boat-access area ( on 260th Street ) that offers car and trail parking and a portable toilet .
Fireside – 251st Street and Elk Trail , offers a variety of playground equipment including swings , merry-go-round and a wooden ship .
Goodview – Goodview and 260th Street , features a picnic shelter with grills , children ’ s play equipment , a trail system , soccer fields , tennis courts , skateboard facility and parking .
Hawk Meadows Trail – 255th Street and Granada Avenue , has a shelter and wood-chip hiking trail .
Lion ’ s – 263rd Street , features a pavilion open to reserve , softball field , bleachers , half-court basketball , large open field , picnic tables , grills , playground area with a variety of playground equipment and portable toilets .
Railroad Park - is the Wyoming entrance to the Sunrise Prairie Trail . This park is where the city ’ s annual tree lighting is held and is being developed .
Sunrise Ridge – Green Avenue , consists of undeveloped open land .
Swenson – Railroad Boulevard and Flintwood Avenue , features a hockey rink and pleasure-skating rink with warming house , half-court basketball , two tennis courts , softball / baseball fields and bleachers , and playground with a variety of equipment .
Tolzmann – 274th and Finland Avenue , features two ball fields with bleachers , volleyball court , picnic shelter available to reserve , picnic tables , a grill and a playground .
Town Hall – Hwy . 22 / Wyoming Trail and Pioneer Trail , features a softball field , bleachers and a variety of playground equipment . A dog park will soon be coming to the park , as well .
Verges – 258th Street and Goodwin Road , includes a basketball court with four hoops , sand volleyball court , picnic table , grill , and playground area .
