Parks aplenty across the prairie
With over 1,000 acres of developed parkland, more than 50 parks and conservation areas and 225 miles of sidewalks and trails, Eden Prairie offers an environment for residents who are eager to explore.
Anderson Lakes Park, at 9800 Anderson Lakes Parkway, includes both paved and unpaved trails surrounding Anderson Lake.
Birch Island Park, at 6225 Eden Prairie Road, includes a hiking trail, picnic area and playground equipment.
Bryant Lake Regional Park, at 6800 Rowland Road, includes a bike trail, boat ramp, disc golf course, fishing pier, hiking trail, off-leash dog exercise area, park shelter, picnic area, playground equipment and swimming beach.
Carmel Park, at 11610 Tyrell Drive, includes a basketball court, bike trail, playground equipment and tennis court.
Cedar Hills Park, at 9580 Eden Prairie Road, includes a basketball court, bike trail and playground equipment.
Creekwood Park, at 12341 Sunnybrook Road, is the place to go for courts. The area includes a basketball court, football and soccer field as well as a softball field.
Crestwood Park, at 9780 Dell Road, is another great place for sports recreation. The area includes a basketball court, bike trail, hockey rink and ice skating rink for winter months,
lighted field, off-leash dog exercise area, park shelter, playground equipment and a tennis court.
Eden Lake Park, at 11700 Anderson Lakes Parkway, is a wonderful place for play. The area includes a basketball court, bike trail, hiking trail, playground equipment and youth baseball field.
Eden Valley Park, at 16600 Duck Lake Trail, is another of Eden Prairie’ s more sports-geared parks. The area includes a basketball court, bike trail, picnic area, playground equipment, tennis court and youth baseball field.
Edenvale Park, at 7200 Edenvale Boulevard, is a good spot for play and recreation. The area includes a basketball court, hiking trail, hockey rink and ice skating rink for winter months, off-leash dog exercise area, park shelter, picnic area, playground equipment and youth baseball field.
Edgewood Park, at 6950 Edenvale Boulevard, is one of Eden Prairie’ s smaller parks. The area includes a park shelter, picnic area and playground equipment.
Flying Cloud Drive Dog Park, at 7171 Flying Cloud Drive, is an exclusive spot functioning as an off-leash dog exercise area.
