I am honored to share this year’ s Annual Report for the Department of Community Supervision( DCS). As we reflect on the accomplishments and progress highlighted throughout these pages, we also recognize an important milestone for our agency— our 10-year anniversary. This report includes a special section that commemorates a decade of service, innovation, and meaningful impact across Georgia.
DCS continued to strengthen its approach to community supervision by expanding personcentered practices, building new partnerships, and advancing strategies that support successful outcomes for those under our supervision. Our team remained focused on accountability, rehabilitation, and public safety, demonstrating exceptional dedication in every region of the state. Their commitment continues to shape a culture grounded in professionalism, integrity, and service.
Over the past decade, the evolution of our supervision model, the development of new tools and technologies, and the professional growth of our workforce have positioned DCS as a leader in community supervision. These lessons continue to guide our efforts and ensure we remain responsive to the needs of the individuals and communities we serve.
As we look to the future, our priorities remain clear. We will continue to innovate, collaborate, and invest in strategies that enhance public safety and support long-term success. Our mission endures: to provide effective supervision, strengthen communities, and create opportunities to promote positive change.
Thank you for your continued support of the Department of Community Supervision. Together, we will build on a decade of progress and continue shaping safer, stronger communities across Georgia.
