Unrolling the Torah, Uniting the Community
Temple Israel celebrated Simchat Torah with a Festive Service and Dancing with the Torahs, bringing families, friends, and congregants together for an evening filled with song, movement, and joy.
Children carried Torahs and danced beside parents and clergy, while the congregation unrolled the full scroll around the sanctuary – a striking symbol of unity, learning, and shared tradition.
Following the service, participants gathered for Jered’ s famous Southern fried cicken and all the fixings, a lively meal that carried the celebration from sanctuary to table and perfectly reflected the warmth of the entire Temple Israel community.
