2025 CJN August | ZABS Place Celebrates 10 Years of Empowerment with Special Guest, Dr. Temple Grandin

This November, ZABS Place will mark a milestone — celebrating a decade of empowering young adults with special needs to uncover their talents, realize their dreams, and build brighter futures. We invite the entire Charlotte Jewish community to join in this meaningful celebration.

On Sunday, Nov. 16, ZABS Place will host its 10th Anniversary Celebration at PINE in NoDa, a vibrant venue in the heart of Charlotte’s arts district. The evening promises inspiration, connection, and heartfelt gratitude.

Since its founding, ZABS Place has dedicated itself to helping young adults with special talents realize their potential and take confident steps toward meaningful careers. Rooted in Jewish values of inclusion and tikkun olam, our mission is to foster independence and opportunity for all.

We are deeply honored to welcome Dr. Temple Grandin as our keynote speaker. A bestselling author, autism advocate, and one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, Dr. Grandin’s trailblazing work has inspired countless individuals to embrace their unique strengths. Her presence underscores ZABS Place’s mission and the importance of community support in empowering young adults with special needs.

Attendees will meet the heart of ZABS Place — the incredible young adults whose journeys of growth and achievement reflect the power of opportunity. The event will also honor our dedicated employment partners and supporters, whose commitment has transformed our mission into a thriving reality.

The Charlotte Jewish community has been instrumental in helping ZABS Place reach this milestone. Your unwavering support, generosity, and shared belief in our mission have made it possible to empower young adults and build a more inclusive future. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us over the past ten years.

More details and ticket information will be shared soon. For now, please mark your calendars for this unforgettable evening as we celebrate ten years of impact and the bright future ahead.

ZABS Place was founded by Chabad of Charlotte and is a beneficiary agency of Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte.
